The 1st Annual RDH Mining Equipment Community Appreciation Day was held on June 16th, 2012 and was an overwhelming success with over 300 people from the local community attending the event. Many employees also attended as volunteers or to show their families where they work and what they do. Attendees enjoyed various activities including face painting, balloons, inflatable bounce house, guided tours, BBQ, and equipment demonstrations.
The owners of RDH planned the day in hopes of demonstrating the company’s commitment to the local community and showcasing the products and operations that make it a world class manufacturing company.
When asked about the feedback from the Community Appreciation Day, Neil Edward, CFO of RDH, replied, “The best comments received were that people were surprised that RDH was building this kind of equipment in the area, and also people couldn’t believe the grand size of our facilities and the large number of people we employ from the area. We plan to make this day an annual event and look forward to participating in local events.”
